Joy Road is a nod to another Pale Ale, East Hill, which commemorates our time spent in similarly rural Monson. Pouring with a classic New England haze, Amarillo, Simcoe, and Citra shine over its soft and crisp body. We taste notes of yellow peaches, fresh grapefruit juice, and woody pine resin.

Can from trade with CLW--thanks, Chris! Hazy pale yellow, nice sparkle, thick head with excellent retention and splotchy lacing. Aroma is sweet citrus, stone fruit, pink grapefruit, hint of pine. Taste is grapefruit, pine, cracker. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, dry, yeasty finish as taste.

Undated can from CLW drunk 4/16/26. Thanks, Chris!
Malty with lots of fruity yeast bordering bubble gum. Lighter hop profile featuring a bit of woodiness and minor herb with light pine, light citrus in the background. Wheat-like malt with biscuit.
Yum, more flavorful and different than the nose lets on. None (or very little) of the bubble gum/huge ester, but instead a more dry malt (still with enough depth) and stone fruit ending on a woody, lightly grapefruit-laden finish. Good bitterness, good attenuation. Ridiculously drinkable, as usual, from TH's pale ale program.

16 oz. can. Aroma shows mild grapefruit, peach and house yeast. Flavor follows with mild peach and soft grapefruit characteristics. Zero bitterness and the mouthfeel is good. Well made and easy to drink. Yet, nothing to tell all your friends about.
