If you're inclined to read something like this and somehow didn't already know, Other Half have been making exceptional hazy beer in New York for over a decade now. It's always a privilege to work with people who share our vision of what beer can be; the thing itself, but also how it builds community and how it can drive the culture around it.
We've taken inspiration from their Daydream Series of Oat Cream IPAs and mashed it up with our much loved Gold Top range to create this supremely hoppy, oaty, creamy goliath of a DIPA. Our palette of hops from the States and New Zealand paint a picture in extra dimensions; Citra, Motueka, Riwaka, Rakau. All on a rich, decadent base enhanced by a measured touch of lactose.

Hazy yeellow, smooth yellow head.
Aroma has a lot of pine, totally much pine, but in a smooth velvety way, not stingy. There is also oranges and citrus fruits in there, below the pine, as well as malts.
flavor is sweet malty in the best possible way, some citrus fruits, some grapefruity bitterness, a chalk like note, reminding me of these white-chalk with licorice inside candy, the beer is a bit too sweet for my liking, but that sweetness carries itself masterfully I must say, with a crisp malty end attenuated by some bitter hops of which i wish there were more.
One of the best sweet double ipa's i've had in a long while. the balance and roundedness is also outstanding

Как и ожидалось топовая ипа. Очень фруктовая и ягодная ипа. Минимум горечи, отличный баланс. Сладость, ощущается лактоза весьма сильно.

Can @ Delaneys, Odense. Dank and Tropical fruit punch. Cloudy to hazy Golden egg White head. Super Smooth. Dry and crisp. Green and dank skunky with the right approach. 4.4. Super tasty and best gold top for me in a while.

Tropical fruity notes of lychee and passionfruit, mango, some citrusy lime and lemon, dense creamy sweet malty backbone, assertive hoppy finish. Lovely.

Can shared at home. Cloudy pale orange colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are peachy and juicy. Light aeeet. Full creamy body.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small but tidy pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth creamy sweet malts, a little too sweet for me, just a notch. Crisp cooling pine. Hop spice starts to bite. Soft but rich Citra hops, slightly ripe orange. Nice savoury Riwaka, that kinda lychee thing, kinda! Modest Motueka lime. Rakau also ran. Crisp hop spicy finish leaves a very long hop spicy linger. Full on, rich, tasty and very drinkable. Dial back the malt sweetness a little and it would be right up there.

440ml can. Murky golden, white head. Aroma of mango, lime, pine resin, smokey Riwaka hints. Taste of ripe tropical fruits, guava, citrus, lime, grapefruit, pine, sweet creamy lactose. Full bodied, smooth.
"Enhanced" by lactose... yeah ok. I will say though this is an excellent Gold Top DIPA, it's not overly sweet despite the lactose addition.
