Cask at the Castle Inn, Cambridge. Clear amber pour with a broken white head. Surprisingly weak aroma but the flavour is all hoppy bitterness and hints of malt. it looks like a pale ale but tastes like a cross between a classic English bitter and an IPA. The hop combination works well and dekivers a truly refreshing session friendly ale.

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - 13/10/12. Pale blonde with a decent white head that soon thins but retains. Light fruits on the nose, pear, banana, toffee. Tastes of toffee, fruits, touch of spice. Medium bodied with low carbonation levels. Decent.

Cask at the Harp, London. Pours a clear, amber-gold with a light film head. Bready malts in the nose with light citrus hops. Bread and butter start the flavor, with faint sweetness, and some grass and orange peel bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. FInishes with buttered biscuit, dough and mild hay. Good beer.
