Half-pint, cask ale at Grain Loft. Creamy, nitro white head, clingy lacing, clear deep rosewood coloured body. Malt-fruity smell, dry. Blended taste of caramel malts and dried fruits, slightly jam-like impression. Rounded mid-sweet malt-fruity finish. Satisfying. (Manchester Airport 05.10.2018).

Fra cask på Grainy Loft, Manchester Airport. Ultradyprød. Nesten svart. Lavt tett skum. Antydning til frukt i aromaen. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken malt med innslag av mørke plommer. Vel søt.

Cask at the Beer House, Waterloo Station. A dark mahogany pour with a reddish glint and a thin beige head; thin purple fruit aroma; watery in the mouth then a dry grainy texture with a short fruity burst; and a biscuity finish. Seasonal but rather thin.

Cask at the Woolpack, Chelmsford. Pours very dark brown with a small lasting off-white to beige head. Easy drinker and not a bad GK beer.

Cask @ the Cricketers, Cambridge. Translucent purplish dark brown with a thin beige head. Caramel, liquorice, blackberry aroma. Taste is sweet: liquorice allsorts with a bit of plum pudding. A trifle saccharin. Short finish. Incredibly weak mouthfeel. Not my sort of thing.
