Cask at the Lord Moon on the Mall, JDW - London. Pours clear copper with a frothy cap. Brown bread in the nose, light toasted grains, ripening berries. Light-medium sweet flavour with mellow leafy hops, low bitterness, further brown bread, a little earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely balanced finish, more lightly toasted bready malts, faint toffee, leaves, berries. Good basic bitter.

Cask handpull at The Old Green Tree, Bath, Somerset. Mid brown colour with an off white head. Malty, and somewhat fruity, but not a stand-out beer.

Little nose, but the slightest malts are apparent. Golden red in colour but with little identifiable flavours and only a an above average bitterness to speak of.

Cask at the Moon in the Square, Bournemouth. Dark mahogany pour with a big off white frothy head. Slightly malty notes in the aroma and a wonderfully rich fruity malt flavour with a hint of bitterness that lingers on the palate for a while after swallowing. An excellent beer which deserves a better rating in my opinion! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
