Cask at Swan Inn, Farnborough. Slight sweetness but not much of an aroma. Medium gold - super creamy head. Slight bitterness, medium creamy body. Sweet. Banana. The bitterness comes throgh in the finish. Golden Ales tend to be boring but at least a tad interesting.

Golden yellow, lovely little white head. Aroma of citrus and grass. Taste is full, fruity, bittersweet. Tiny bit soapy. Ticks most of the ’IPA’ boxes at a relatively low strength.

Cask at the jail house... Amber... Thin white head... Light lemon nose... Soapy custardy fruits... Not for me

Cask @ The Haymarket, Edinburgh [270713]
Amber, clear, dense thin white head, good lacing
Aroma - soft citrus hops, soft sweet fruity malt
Taste - bitter hops, some soft citrus, touch floral, pale soft fruity malts, the over bitter finish spoils the taste for me
Palate - Bitter citrus, dry palate, then a strong wave of dry digestive biscuit, long finish, too dry bitter finish, some paracetamol in the tail
Overall - The beer was initially OK, but that very bitter dry linger was getting a bit much after a while

Cask at the William Webb Ellis (JDW), Twickenham - 15/09/12. Clear golden with a thin white head. Good lacing follows. Sweet malts on the nose allied to fresh hops. A truly fresh and alive tasting beer. Caramel tones, hops, light grapefruit, other tropical fruit notes present. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation leading to a clean, fresh finish. A top notch cask ale!

Cask at the Crispin, Wokingham. Poured a golden amber with a bubbly head and lots of lace initially. This beer is all about the hops which is very evident in the aroma. The flavour is all hops with some citrus notes. The hoppy bitterness lingers on the palate for a while. I'm not sure what hops they use, but they certainly suit this refreshing session IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask at the Old Gaolhouse (JDW), Winchester. Amber with a thin cream head; citrus aroma; crisp in the mouth and full of flavour, with a grainy body and some citrus, honey and hedgerow notes; then light grassy hops before a dry finish.
