Keg at Bottle Shop. It pours opaque darkest brown - black with a medium beige head. The aroma is earthy roast, toasty, coffee grounds, umami and cocoa dust. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, roast, cocoa powder, chocolate, earthy, burnt toast, peppery spice, charcoal, liquorice and tar with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit charred and burnt in areas. Okay.

Can. A very dark brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, chocolate, citrus fruits, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Nice slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet roasted, dark malts, roasted grain, dark sugar, hay, minerals, weeds, toast, chocolate, coffee, bark. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, roasted grain, burnt toast, hay, alcohol, paper, bark, minerals, burnt coffee. Medium to longlasting, slightly watery and harsh roasted mouthfeel. Boring.

Sample from US pint size can. Near black with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, coffee, chocolate and fruits. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes drying and fruity with caramel malts and chocolate.

Can@yesprs - black pour with beige head. Roasted and sweet malty with notes of chocolate and caramel, some dark brown sugar, charred malty, medium body, dark roasted malty finish.

1 pint can. Pours dark brown to black. Brown head. Aroma is roasted dark malty. Breadish and dark malty. Bitter, roasted, dark malty. Bitter. Dry, roasted. Roasted finish.
