Light tan, with a thin head. I'm finding this a bit husky on the palate. Some glue phenol notes. So underattenuated. Not very well made - I don't understand this one. Husky, sweet, lots of phenols. A miss.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out a spicy rustic saison yeast upfront, with a touch of sweet bubblegum and candied sugar. Flavour is way too estery and sweet, with lots of bubblegum, candied sugar and fruity esters. Too sweet, inauthentic, but pleasantly estery at least. Okay, but unconvincing.

At a tasting, medium bubbly foamy head, cloudy deepish orange colour, mineral herbal aroma with some yeastiness, fruity flavor with some yeastiness and almond, bitterness a bit heavy, some sweetness. Nice but nothing too exciting.

Bottle split at Bodney Heights, thanks to LKS, 22/02/18. Almost clear golden with a decent off white cap. Nose is light brett, grains, lemon drizzle, funk, green berry esters, honey. Taste comprises lime, grains, straw, mellow hop, light wood, citric sherbets, grass, champagne yeast tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent enough saison.

Bottle shared in Hackney - sourced from Beergium. Pours clear gold with a small, creamy white head. Nice aroma, doughy wheat, tangerine. Medium sweet flavour with low bitterness, straw, more dough. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with saison yeast, more doughy yeast. Enjoyable if a bit basic.

Bottle. Clear golden body (first glass); hazy deep golden body (second glass). Fizzy white head, diminishing. Aroma of toasted grain, banana, light basement dankness, raw grain, citrus. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. Medium body, watery/sticky/syrupy texture, lively carbonation. The taste of banana and sugar are particularly assertive. Combine that with the syrupy, slightly chalky body, and you wind up with a, well, not what I think of as a saison. Nothing delicate or nuanced here. Disappointing.

Bottle from Craft Brewed shared on Thanksgiving. Pours a clearish copper with a big foamy head that lingers. Lots of earthy aromas, fresh soil, hay, manure, overripe orange and grass. Clean and crisp on the palate, with some mineral notes. Some malt sweetness mid-palate that moves into a dry finish. Good carbonation throughout. Maybe a tad boozy, but overall really well done. Another great drop from Blackberry Farm.
