Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown color with a one and a half fingers of khaki foamy head which took it's time to fall off then leave some messy lace
Aroma: sweet espresso, milk chocolate and toffee up front sweetly then melds with some coffee roastiness and an underlying tone of earthiness
Flavor: starts sweet through the prior mentioned aromas and ends up balancing in some roasty coffee; mild aftertaste of caramel, espresso and toffee
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; fairly smooth along tongue; finishes with the smooth espresso beany sweetness
Overall: I'd say a pretty nicely done oatmeal stout leaning closer to the sweeter side. I believe I could come back to.

Can from the brewery. Opaque dark brown with nice sparkle, fizzy orange-tan head with poor retention, light viscosity and no lacing. Aroma is chocolate-covered-espresso beans, earthy malt, mild toffee. Taste is strong, earthy roasted malt, followed by chocolate and coffee with late plastic milk jug in the finish. Fairly thick texture with full body, mostly earthy malt and plastic milk jug finish. Everything was going along just fine until there was something just a smidge off in the finish.

Canned 12/5/24, drunk 6/10/25, compliments of tfontana. Thanks, Tom!
Clear, dark, mahogany and garnet-cola. Very large, light tan head steadily fades to nothing.
Dark grape-laced black malts and roasted barley with a touch of fudge, vanilla and dark chocolate. Very round, fruity, but dark nose with lots of fresh yeast. Clean.
Oily, dark, though not bitter. Or not very bitter, but certainly well-balanced between acidic dark malt and base malt. Creates a milk chocolate, caramel and vanilla character that helps balance the prune, dark chocolate and grape. A bit oily, slick, undercarbonated, though still with a soft texture, fairly malty and good attenuation.

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Thanks Tom. Aroma is moderate coffee and some caramel. For the gravity this has a good flavor. Espresso bean, caramel with a light roasted malt character. Decent body and texture for 6%.
