Can from Mr Hop but this was an online order that contributed towards the advent calendar that I curated for Loz. Picked up from Mr Hop webshop, Venray, Netherlands. Had this at home Friday 19th December 2025 listening to Afrodeutscha on 6Music. We had homemade Chimichangas for tea tonight, was lovely. Pours lemon meringue yellow with a mid sized white head. A touch aggressive on the hop front but somehow it's just about kept in check, it could be disastrous but wow it's impressive because it cleverly offers you everything but pulls back from the abyss. The hoppiness literally floats above your tongue, hangs around then comes back down your nose. A little bit lemony, this is an in yer' face beer.

Hazy (but not New England) IPA by one of Poland's finest craft breweries, thanks to Meeki for sharing the can. Off-white, moussey, quite thick and frothy head over a 'milky' pale yellow blonde robe with greenish tinge. Aroma of cumin cheese, lots of sweaty dankness, grapefruit zest, milk powder, dried dill, asphalt, moist white pepper, raw onion, oatmeal porridge, wormwood, pine, urine. Juicy onset but nowhere too sweet, hinting at unripe white pineapple, lime and unripe pear, grape skin perhaps, softishly carbonated with smooth, bit powdery mouthfeel; unsweetened porridge-ish pale maltiness soaked in a peppery, 'green', eventually even rooty hop bitterness with associations of wormwood, grapefruit zest and tonic water - a lot more bitter than average in even a 'generic' hazy IPA, almost evoking memories of the old West Coast IPA. This is a confidence in bitterness you do not often see in the IPA world anymore today so have a point for that alone.

very hazy pale yellow colour, half inch of dense ecru-ish white head; aroma of overripe watery pineapple, some litchi, papaya, grapefruity, orange peel, some vegetables and celery notes; taste of hoppy bitterness, some biscuity sweetness, the same notes as can be felt in the aroma and spicy-horseradish-like aftertaste; not bad
