33 cl bottle. It pours dark amber, slightly cloudy, with a huge lacing, thick tan head. Aroma is lime blossom, molasses, honey. Mouthfeel is slick, sweetish, dense and medium-lasting, with hints of treacle.

Bottle from Delice and Caprices. Thanks Pierre! Pours clear amber colour with medium golden bubbly head. Aroma is belgian yeasty, lots of fruit, maybe pear, apple bit of cherry, marzipan, quite sweet. Taste is fruity, malty, bit of light caramel and more apple. Suprisingly tasty to be honest, especially given the %. Touch of creaminess in there too. Not bad.

I got this OWA Japanese ceramic type glass and decided to break it in with their brown beer paired with some cheese, Polish pâté and fresh bread. The aroma is deep dark delicious figs and candies fruits while the taste is big caramel syrup, dark candies fruits and a rough dry finish. The finish gives some cinnamon spice notes but I’d say it’s a pretty average Belgian Dark Ale. The cheese accentuates the sharply of the beer and vice-versa, not really such a good pairing. The late and bread accentuated the caramel and maltiness which worked very well together delivering a slight boost in flavor to both. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Entre dorada y ambar de espuma abundante y efervescente. Aroma escaso, madera, licor. En boca base acaramelada, y predominio dulce, pero con contrapunto seco y amargo y notas ácidas. Gas punzante, quizá en exceso.

Bottle from Takumi, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is malt, light woody hop, some citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth big woody hop, light fruit palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
