Can. Golden pour. No hop residu! Aroma of jammy orange, citrus, bready malt, white grape, oak, caramel and grapefruit. Taste has caramelly apple, orange, oak, vanilla, yuzu, white grape, bready malt, caramel and zesty citrus. Really nice, this works.

0.33 l can from 'Bierwinkel Alkmaar', best before September 2022. Hazy, golden amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity, slightly resiny aroma of mango, orange jam and pine. Gently sweet, quite bitter, fairly fruity-resiny taste of mango, orange jam, vanilla, whisky and some pine, followed by a medium long, quite bitter, gently resiny finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Interesting DIPA with subtle but moreish whisky flavours while it still has enough fresh hoppiness.

Light cream-coloured head with green inclusions over fully hazy orange beer. Pungent hops' smell, with grapefruitpeel, asafoetida, some meaty and nutty notes. Completely hopoil-dominated, lupulin onslaught with a hot boozy background. Alcohol giving sweetness, the citrusnotes become more clearly orange-like. Unripe pistacchio, hay. Finish has even more orange(peel) and something mineral, almost salty. Alcoholheat, good carbonation, hopoilslick, viscous, at least medium bodied.Taste is more than OK. But this takes DDH to a whole new level. There's more lupulin - visible - in my glass than in a medium sized hopplant.

Can. Dirty golden color. Loads of hop residue in my glass. Remaining grassy hops in the aroma. Oak, soft herbal notes and citrus. Malty yet dry oaky flavor with citrus, grass and whisky. Hard to drink, because of the hop residue.

Can. A lot of hop residue in the can. Luckily I was warned before by another drinker, so was able to separate most of the hop from my glass. Color: Hazy golden, thin white head. Aroma: Resinous hopbitterness, some booze. Taste: Resinous and grassy hopbitterness, citrus and grapefruit, bit boozy and subtle Whiskey notes. Above medium body, average carbonation. Overall quite nice, but minus points for the hop residue.

Barrel ageing IPA's always seems so futile to me, and it rarely works. Hardly no barrel noticable here, luckily, so what it is is actually a pretty decent IPA. Hoppy, very dank, pretty sweet and quite herbal. Good thickness. Odd.

Hazy pale blond. Aroma and flavour are dominated by candied yellow fruits. Dry finish from the barrel.
