25 cL bottle. Pours almost hazy orange with a fully diminished white head. Light yeasty and light overripe fruity aroma. Malty flavour towards almost grainy. Light oxidised malty finish. Clean but also bland and boring.

Bottled. Ambery brown colour with minor head. Aroma is caramel malts, alcohol, red berries and some leatheryness. Flavour is plumpudding with alcohol, caramel malts and some mild fruits.

Bottled (BB 01/2007)
A bit old bottle from Beermania, vintage around 2002-2004? Nut brown color, small white head. Sticky nose with alcohol, berries, wood and hints of caramel. Some fudge, alcohol and plums in the flavor - someway empty palate, propably age is one reason for it. Light alcoholic aftertaste, also some sweetness. Nothing special.

Bottled. Clearamber, brief head. Light resiny nose with some phenols. Sweet with clean, hard mouthfeel. Syrup hides the alcohol well, but does nothing to improve the flavour or mouthfeel.

Sample a few scant months beyond BBDate Little, fast dwindling yellow head over bright red-foxy beer. Vinous, slightly oxydized nose, like a sweet running cheese, with a fruity aroma, as from apricots. A soft cheese with fruit? Nice. Very carbonated MF, slightly sourish-bitterish overlying flavours over a rather sweet, malty, quite alcohol tinted taste. The different flavours have come very well together, giving a decent balance. The oxydation is quite apparent, even when not fully dominating. Fruitiness is less than in the nose, it has become more severe, dry, even when the alcohol allows for sweetness. Slick, carbonated, ending a bit empty. Another beer that is actually better by the oxydation. Sezoens - let alone the Quattro! - has become a rarity these days, and it is virtually become impossible to find a fresh sample. In this case, fortunately.

Bottle: Poured and amber color with carbonated white head. Aroma was a bit sweet and fruity. The flavor was slightly fruity and sweet, but finished just bitter enough to tease the palate.

(Bottle 25 cl) Copper coloured with a lovely, creamy, beige head. Starts with some caramel sweetness which is quickly relieved by a very pronounced bitterness - but a soft not harsh bitterness. 200999
