(355ml bottle shared @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, April 21 2016) Pours very dark brown with an average medium tan head and lace. Aroma is coffee beans with green pepper, caramel, roast, slight chocolate. Flavour is slightly less green pepper but still coffee bean dominated. Slightly spicy roast over a light to moderately sweet core of caramel, drying to a fairly bitter finish with coffee beans, a bit of dried leaves and vanilla. Medium bodied, average carbonation. I would love it if it had the green pepper bean character dialed down a touch but it’s still a nice non-imperial coffee stout.
