Ryeland is an Altbier inspired brown ale, made with Connecticut-grown pilsner malt and Northeastern-grown Danko rye. A two month lagering period produces a dry, satisfying beer with notes of toasty bread crust and dark caramelized sugars.

Can drunk 5/26/24. Forgot to note the date, but from the fridge at Harvest Wine & Spirits Elmwood.
Clear amber-tan. Medium-sized, beige head.
Hint toasty with light caramel and nutty rye. Good base malt contributing bread and gentle honey suggestions. Clean with herbs and pepper from the hop.
Similar flavors with an excellent maltiness and attenuation. Nutty, spicy, with gentle fruitiness and lingering crisp, gently bitter hop. Fresh yeast and nutty malt with a hint of toast.
