Sneaking through the fading light and growing shadows, a flash of red is all that might give this Rascal away as he pilfers ripe red cherries from the orchard. Forever on the quest for new flavours this cunning hunter always knows where to find the juiciest morsels.
Roasted malt and rich caramel notes unite with balanced bitterness for a satisfying mouthfeel that forms the perfect backdrop for juicy, fresh cherry notes. Complex and bold just like the enigmatic fox himself.

Bottle generously donated by my old mate Paul who probably got it from Lewisham Tescos. Cherry & strawberry jam nose. Cherry drops taste. Sweet with a light bitter edge.
Bottle from Tesco at home. Deep chestnut brown colour with an off white head. Aroma and taste are malty sweet and plastic cherry. Light body.

Very nice overall. Nice toasted bready malts, a little toffee, faint British yeast, impressions of cherry/semi-dark fruits. Well balanced and highly drinkable label.

Isle Of Wight Holiday Beer#35. Having this one with lunch at St. Catherine's Oratory. Quite rich with the fruit despite it not being too stated. Aroma of cherry too. Nice, but hard to decide if I'd want a second one of these or not.

Bottle from Tesco, Brooklands. Opaque chestnut. Thick frothy beige head. Aroma has a tang of berries sharpness alongside a syrupy berry sweetness and equally swret caramel. Flavourwise it has tart berries over chewy caramel malts. Some cherry sweetness in the mix too, but not as intrusive as per the aroma. Hiwever, Inthen drink on and the sweetness.does gain prevalence. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Alright but too reminiscent of artificial flavourings and sweetners.
A pleasant mild. Bottle at home.

Dark brown body with delicate red highlights, persistent white head. Chocolate dominates the nose, sweet notes of cherry liqueur are noticeable in the aroma, the finish brings a light roastiness and chocolate. Pleasant but I expected more cherries

500ml bottle from Tesco Extra in Chesterfield - Dark black body with a slight red hue, lasting off-white head. Chocolate dominates the nose, big Black Forest Gateaux vibe throughout, dusty cherry finish. Not too sweet, not too dry.
