Bottle from the brewery. Inky, opaque black with ring of head, light lacing. Aroma is strong earthy, slightly peaty malt, banana as it warms. Taste is mix of strong banana, vanilla, lighter chocolate and orange. Smooth, thick texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Well made but, in its quest for breadth, it may compromise a true identity. Still good.

500 ml bottle, thank you tfontana on the share! Aroma is bananas, vanilla and orange peel. Flavor is sort of like a chocolate orange but then it does have a good amount of vanilla. A lot of flavor. Yet, not very cohesive. Flavor is all over the place.

500mL bottle shared by tfontana on 11/1/25. Thanks, Tom.
Banana is funky and earthy, fairly tasteful. Chocolate and char with oily, rich vanilla and righteous barrel. Leaden spicy bourbon and soft sweetness. No alcohol at all.
Banana, creamy vanilla and peppery bourbon with soft orange cream. Soft, sweet succulent and chewy with great richness. Lingering creamy fudge. Love the barrels.

Draught at source: black with minimal head. Aroma is chocolate syrup, hints of banana, slight citrus, woody booze. Taste is quite sweet and pastryish. Thick gooey mouthfeel. A six ounce pour of this feels like a lot. Really hefty.
