Tasting Notes
Each clean, soft swig delivers delicious notes of chocolate chip banana muffins. Bread crust and caramel notes mingle with sweet hints of raisin, clove, and ‘nana while coca-y undertones flow beneath. And it all finishes crisp, with a touch of lingering nuttiness.

Can from Tavour. Pours amber with a transient head. Aroma of banana and clove at a high level. Well done that. Med body. There's a slight sourish tang, but banana, clove and something like dark fruit. Wheaty but pretty dry. Not really bitter - clove covers that.

I think I drank one of these a couple of weeks ago but luckily I had a second! Wooh dunkel Weiss! Need more of these in the world. Still hints of banana esters but also a nice balanced malt note thrown in. Too smooth.

Can. Pours lightly hazy chestnut, small beige head, good lacing. Aroma is wheat, banana, clove, hint of roast. Flavor is light sweet, very light bitter. Light plus body. Love it when I find a good dunkelweiss.

Single from Appalachian. Pint glass at home in between gardening & mosquito bites. Canned 4/28/24 Murky, hazy pour; weak head. Mild banana & clove, odd earthy tomato, boring breakfast cereal nose. Spiced, black pepper, browned banana & rye bread. Lovely zingy acid that delivers a pinch of sharp & minerally bitterness. Salt. Finish is a lingering dull black pepper & earth. Bittersweet. Clove-y esters are kept in check, which to me is a good thing. Nicely crispy, yeasty but still pretty thin. Barely sweet, it dries out on the finish. Tasty.
