Ice Cider is made by freezing the apple juice and removing the ice. The remaining naturally concentrated juice is then fermented into Ice Cider. It has a unique flavour that combines bitter-sweet and sharp qualities found in a traditional vintage cider apple.

Many thanks to my Secret EU-Santa martjoobolut for this 50cl bottle! Smooth nose, apples, ripe apples, sweetish, fantastic nose. Extreme thick beginning. Spices, thick, ripe apples, lots of fruit, not too sweetish, intense and thick. Long fresh thick ripe fruity spicy ending. Fantastic long and deep. A really great ice cider! Thank you so much, Mart

Bottle from New Forest Cider, Borough Market, consumed at Cliff House Campsite, Dunwich, Friday Christmas Day 25th December 2015 You know that this is an Ice Cider and therefore it will be really sweet but when all you initially get is the feeling that this is far too sweet and actually quite rough, then something is wrong. Mmhhh this is really not good. Certainly nothing like I was expecting, yes it’s appley, but it’s rough and ready not smooth. Dry finish and with a tart appley fruitiness this is the sort of thing that should go well with some nice cheese or a pudding but for me it goes best with the sink (it’s a drain pour). Appearance wise it is tawny in colour. This is a really amateur effort, Loz has given up on hers and decided to have a cup of tea instead, good move, I am going to do the same at £17 a pop we are both bitterly disappointed and will be throwing the rest. 50cl bottle from Burrow Hill online. Clear orangey-brown amber with a pinkish tinge, no head and aroma of juicy apple, apple pie, spice, woody oak. Taste is sweet, sugar syrup, fruity apple, apple pie, woody, booze and drying tannins. Syrupy mouthfeel, full bodied, low carbonation, dry tart & tangy tannic finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle shared at Leighton’s place. 25/08/2015. Many thanks to Paul and Lorna for the Ice Cider scoop. Clear bright magnificent orange, viscous and no head. Aroma is lovely crystaline sugars, apple pie, booze, with a nice crisp apple edge. Flavour is composed of sweet crystaline sugars in the start, apple skin, hint of bark and apple wood, warming apple pie. Lovely. Palate is medium sweet, with a drying finish, lowish carbonation. Interesting.

Bottle shared at Leighton’s. It pours rich deep oily amber. The nose is rich, oily, sweet apple pie, sweet apple, light spice, pie crust, golden delicious, light plastic and white grape. The taste is rich, oily, bitter-sweet, light fruity tartness, big apple skin character, conference pear, alcohol boost, tannins and wood with a slick, warming finish. Medium - full body and oily mouth - feel. A bit drier than usual ice cider. Solid stuff.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Plorna. Pours glowing gold, lightly oily. Big syrupy, ripe apple aroma, some honeysuckle. Big sweet flavor, juicy, with lots of gooey apples, some honey, mellow caramel. Full bodied, lightly oily and chewy. Warming finish, sticky-sweet, with more ripe apples, subtle must, skin. Dry tannic aftertaste. Great stuff overall.
