Bottle. Clear golden yellow color medium white head. Aroma of light paper subtle pepper. Taste is watery and lightly bitter. Apparently the St Vincent brewery has only had the contract to brew this one for the last few months, and it pales in comparison to the original.

355ml can, thanks to Hans-Peter! "Produced for Antigua Brewery Ltd. by St. Vincent Brewery Limited, Kingstown, St. Vincent & the Grenadines". Nose is sweetish-grain. The beer, canned 3 month ago, tastes old, grainy, boring. Metallic in the aftertaste, grain, sweetish, nearly no hops.

7th April 2014 and our cruise liner docks on Antigua: we hack our way through the taxi and tour hawkers and find the local bus station and get out to Turners Beach where we found OJ’s beach bar, very cool and laid back. It was here I had my first three cans of this refreshing beer. Poured into chilled glass tankards my wife and I sat outside with the sand between our toes enjoying the view and sun. Obviously the location and mood helped to make this a fantastic memory and may well effect the notes I wrote! Anyway the truth is this is a thirst quenching ’bog standard’ lager/pilsner with nothing to set it apart from thousands like it all over the world. Bright, clean and clear golden in colour with a white head. Almost odourless and tasteless, some corn-sweet (not sweetcorn) flavouring. I actually prefered it’s weaker brother out the bottle (which I had twice before rejoining the ship).

Can: Poured a golden with carbonated huge white head. Aroma is grain. Taste is sweet grain, very refreshing on a hot day.
