Bottle shared with Laura at hotelroom in Saint Barthelemy. Clear golden color, white head. Aroma and flavor are lightly malts, kind of fruity actually, weird, candy notes. Very weird beer.

Bottle, from Travlr. Has a bit of haze and a slight pink colour. Thin head. Smells a bit like pale lager with some florals. And skunky a bit, too, I guess because of the clear bottle, which is a weird choice. On the palate, lots of hibiscus, maybe some sourish pale malt in the base. I don't hate this but it's not good, mostly because the base beer and the clear glass work against it.

12 oz. bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is very skunky, with a touch of hibiscus and nasty skunk cabbage. Flavour is just unpleasant, with tart hibiscus and heaps of skunk cabbage. Why bottle this in a clear bottle in a tropical country? Not good.

Draft at the source. This is on of their simplest recipes. They started with fresh hibiscus flowers and brewed it in December, but demand was such that they now use powdered flowers to brew it year round. It's their top seller. Clear amber color with a floral caramel aroma. Huge floral taste, the biggest I've found in a hibiscus beer. Tasty.
