Amber, with some haze. Medium head. Berryish, fruity hop overtone with rich crystal malt, lots of bitterness, grapferuit rind, bit of pine, all the classic notes. Not that far off from Spirit of Dixmas, actually.

On tap at Brassneck, pours a clear bright pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out plenty of bitter woody pine and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is bitter and biting, with lots of woody piney hops, a touch of bitter citrus peel, and crisp biscuity malt to back. Lovely biting piney hops, with great bitterness on the finish. Excellent.
