750mL growler filled 8/25, drunk 8/31/17.
Thoroughly hazy, bronze-brass golden body is well-carbonated and topped by a small, but fairly well-retained white head.
Extremely juicy pineapple-tangerine combo in the nose is surprising to me. Had no idea Cpt Lawrence was making good IPAs these days (ever?). But there it is, lush, juicy, dank and all with minimal resin/grapefruit/pine and no alcohol or flaw. Light honey and biscuit behind it all, gently support.
True to the nose, the beer is excellently-hopped. Lush, green, juicy mango-pineapple-apricot-tangerine is bursting forth and only moderate bitterness emerges as it progresses through a chewy-like, well-malted but dry texture to finish fairly soft, with only light bitterness and a touch of grapefruit lingering. No alcohol or flaw. Quite impressed and I haven't generally like lupulin powder beers (too resinous).
