The Nine Realms Ale Series is a limited-edition collection celebrating Brew York’s nine-year journey, featuring unique beers inspired by the Nine Realms of Norse mythology.

In collaboration with Thornbridge Brewery, we present Midgard Mist — a tribute to Midgard, the realm of humans, connected to the other realms by the shimmering rainbow bridge, Bifrost. This bold West Coast IPA bursts with classic hop character, delivering crisp, clean bitterness alongside vibrant notes of grapefruit and pine. Bright, refreshing, and worthy of legends. Can at home in the garden, 26th July 25. Pours clear and golden. Aroma is resinous, pith and light aromatic. Taste is straight forward, caramel, bitter, malty and resinous. Basic but enjoyable

Tap. Thornbridge Tap. Clear tea colour. Decent white foam. Not too much happening here. Some cereal and some light earthy hop. Dry and bitter. High-ish carbonation. Dry and prickly. Dry bitter finish. Bland.

Can at the inlaws, picked up from The Royston Broadstairs, 03/07/2025.
Clear golden topped with a frothy white head.
Nose is orange peel, grass, melon, crisp malts.
Taste comprises grapefruit, grass, pine needle, papaya, melon, airy malts.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close spiked with light juicy come grassy hop bitterness.
Tidy enough WC if not one I'd revisit ... wanted to give it a 7.2 but thought it deserved more than 7.1
