Brewed in collaboration with outstanding Lancastrian beer wizards Rivington Brewing Co, this is our take on the Czech Amber Lager. The name translates as ''half dark'' which describes the alluring copper colour perfectly. Clean, crisp and refreshing with complex malt flavour to the fore and plenty of whole cone Saaz hops offering light floral and delicate spicy notes.

Can from the internet. It pours slightly hazy chestnut brown with an off - white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, brown bread, malt loaf, nutty, cereal, raisin, sultana, carrot cake, warming spice and nutmeg. The taste is smooth, bitter - sweet, warming spice, hearty malts, brown bread, cereal, ryvita, nuttiness, carrot cake, oatcakes, leather and wood with a toasty finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Nice depth of malt flavour. Classy stuff.
