Small white head over veiled orangey tinted golden beer. White grapes immediately in the nostrils, hints at dried lemonpeel and other fruitpeel. White wine with some obvious non-fermentable sugars (strange for lambic based beer that has already some ripening). White grapes again, lemonpeel. Very outspoken dry-out effect, ulra dry, tart flavours; light body and mild carbonation. Excellent - as expected from this De Ranke series. Noteworthy: it is expressly sour/dry, but has not many classic lambicfeatures.

Mycket gott

opalescent golden to orange colour, minimal ecru head; aroma of citric and lactic acidy, some acetone, unripe grape, some woody and earthy notes; taste has the same notes as can be felt in the aroma with some tannins; good one

750mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is full of tangy, musty white wine grapes, some leather, gentle acidity, and a hint of funk. Flavour is quite tangy and modestly acidic, with light lemon, white pepper, musty white wine grape skins, and a hint of funk. Doesn’t have the funk complexity that a top lambic would have. Drinks more like a tangy, slightly funky wild ale than anything lambic-like. Good.

750 ml bottle. Pours a dull amber with little head. Soft aromas of grapeskin, fruity grapes, fruity florals, and wheaty toasted malts. Brighter flavors follow same with additional vinous note. Tartness is soft. Overall very drinkable with nice grape and malt notes.
