We were delighted to welcome down our good friends Pressure Drop to brew this Bright IPA. A lean malt bill of Pilsner with a dash of Wheat and Caramalt leaves a canvas for the hops to shine.

Mosaic T90 and Dynaboost were added alongside Krush and Simcoe for notes of fleshy mango, zingy passionfruit and a subtle grassy finish.

440ml can. Clear gold, white head. Aroma of dank herb, citrus fruits, resin. Taste of citrus, grapefruit, orange, pine, resin, tropical fruit, quite dank and herbal throughout, mild bitterness. Medium bodied. Good stuff. Clearly west coast leaning but less bitter and less malt character too.

Can. Just a light haze on this gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, a little dry, decent fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Thin bodied pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Cooling pine hops, soft but fairly rich. Soft but bright citrus into pineapple cube sweets and a little crystallised mango. The lightest possible hop nip on the semi dry finish. Interesting brew
What is a bright IPA? Not a West Coast caramel and marmalade affair, very grateful for that, but not a crystal clear beer either. Dunno! Drinkable for sure.
