On tap at The Green Goddess, Blackheath Royal Standard. Nice nose of strawberry cheesecake, red cherries, vanilla. Taste is much the same. Thick sweet desserty brew with a very subtle sourness.

440ml can. Opaque pinky red melted ice cream. Aroma of strawberry ice cream. Taste of strawberry ice cream. Full bodied, thick... as in, you're eating this rather than drinking it. About as far from beer as you can get but damn is it delicious, and probably the best one of these they've done.

Strawberry smoothie pink with floaty bits.
Nose is white chocolate, strawberry creme, sugars, lactic tinge.
Taste comprises much the same, sugary, strawberries, cream.
Medium bodied, smooth creamy feel, semi drying close.
All a bit silly really although not terrible ... good look with a fucken can to yourself!

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. This pours a pale chocolate frothy mess – where it’s impossible to tell what is head, and what is body. There’s strawberries and chocolate in the aroma. In the mouth it is slightly sharp, but this just accentuates the flavour (strawberries and chocolate again). Underlying cheesecake consistency as well. A little bitterness in the finish. Looks horrible but tastes quite nice – not a really a beer though !

Can. Opaque strawberry milkshake colour beer, no head. Hugely viscous gloopy palate, reasonable fine carbonation. A fair old vanilla creamy base, might be malt induced sweetness, I doubt it but who knows? Rich strawberry, slightly ripe, goes well with the soft but forward vanilla cream. Some sour strawberry more than brings the sweetness back from the brink. Soft viscous finish. Very long slightly bruised strawberry linger. Intense, feels like a much stronger double digit abv affair. Feckin gloopy, this is not far removed from alcoholic ice cream!
