Liquid Art Fest is a Collective IPA brewed specifically to celebrate our art, music and brewfest this June. This brew is a tropical, full bodied milkshake IPA showcasing vanilla, mango and passion fruit flavours paired with Simcoe and Citra hops. Don’t plan on seeing through this IPA, it’s hazy due to the Vermont ale yeast, lactose and fruit puree… resulting in an orange hue reminiscent of a tropical milkshake.

Can from the brewery. Opaque yellow pour, with a medium white head. Right off the bat I get some grapefruit and orange zest. I decided to go outside to my deck and the beer really opened up. Swirl and I would get huge stone fruit, canned peaches and the passion fruit really came though with a slight tartness. The vanilla showed up, even hints it mint. The finish is medium bitter, and as it warms turns to a combo or orange and peach juice, with hints if vanilla grains and citrus oil.

473ml can. Pours completely opaque orange with almost no head. Aroma is fruity, ripe mango and passionfruit. Taste is sweet, overripe fruits, mango, passionfruit, hint of vanilla, lactose, pithy citrus. Medium bodied, smooth, soft carbonation. Not bad but this can appears to be about 5 months old, was probably a lot nicer when fresh.

440ML can takeout from IndyMan '18. Pours misty gold, thinning bubbles. Light passionfruit and mango juice on the nose. Very slight mango and passionfruit to taste with a light bitter prickle. Juicy, but expected a fuller palate, perhaps diluted by the lactose. Super drying close. The beer's fine, but by no means hitting the high notes.
