This Double dry hopped Pale was brewed with Fonio, an ancient grain that grows in West Africa. A special and generally forgotten about grain, that has many attributes such as being draught proof by being able to survive the hottest climates, whilst still being a superfood packed with vitamins and nutrients. As if this wasn't enough, to add aromas of passion fruit, tropical fruits and pine we also filled it with Nelson Sauvin, Simcoe and Chinook hops.

Keg draught at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Yellow orange, hazy with a small film of white head. Aroma... mmmm this is different. Spicy, almost smoky, with grapefruit hop notes shining through. Taste is similar. Some smoke, an almost meaty character, sweet then fading with a light hoppy bitterness. Light body heavily carbonated. Very different to the average pale. Worth seeking out.
