Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 20C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L16051 (BBF 05-2018). AROMA: medium to medium-high alcohol aroma with solvent qualities. medium-low background of sweet malt (chocolat and slight coffee) with na underatenuated impression. APPEARANCE: very dark Brown color and opaque with ruby highlights. low Brown head with low retention. slight leg formation. TASTE: medium roasted malt flavor with a bittersweet character. medium-high solventy alcohol presence. slight yeasty note. medium-low bitterness with a dry and roasted finish. PALATE: medium-high body with very low carbonation. distracting alcohol warmth. OVERALL: an imperial stout with agressive alcohol presence and a monotonous character.
