Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5.5

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 30A/15B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L69-2017 (BBF 05-2018). AROMA: medium-high cocoa aroma masking any roasted malt notes. medium-low sweet malt background giving the impression of chocolat and milk. APPEARANCE: very dark Brown color and opaque um slight ruby highlights. medium light Brown head with low retention. TASTE: medium unidimensional chocolat flavor. medium-low to low bitterness with an almost dry and flightly roasted finish. PALATE: low body with very low carbonation. no creaminess. OVERALL: an unidimensional stout that could be much more.
