Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 22A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch DD290 121 (BBF 01/2022). AROMA: medium to medium-low hop aroma with grapefruit and slight fresh-green notes. low malt background, slightly sweet with toffee overtones. faint sulphur and slight alcoholic notes. APPEARANCE: amber color and clear. medium ivory head creamy, with good retention. lace formation. TASTE: similar to the aroma with initial medium-low hop flavor (grapefruit), followed by medium malt flavor with a toffee character. medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium to medium-high body with medium carbonation. slight astringency and alcoholic warmth. OVERALL: a below average double IPA:
