Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 30A: coffee / 15B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L030398 (BBF 04/2021). AROMA: medium-high single coffee aroma. APPEARANCE: very dark brown color and opaque. medium light brown head, creamy, with average retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with a medium-high coffee flavor. faint roasted barley background. unbalanced. medium bitterness with a dry finish and coffee. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a stout with too much added coffee that could be any kind of base dark beer.
