Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 20C). Bottle 75 cl - Batch L345 (BBF 11.20). AROMA: medium-low roasted malt aroma with slight chocolate notes. background low fruity and slight yeast notes. faint oxidation notes starting to show. APPEARANCE: dark amber color and clear. medium light brown head, creamy, with good retention. lace formation. TASTE: initial medium-low toasted notes, followed by medium-low fruity esters (reminiscent of light colored fruits). faint yeast background. medium bitterness with a dry and slightly roasty finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a more soft stout without the imperial.
