Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 29A/X3/15A). Bottle 50 cl - Batch L113-2019 (BBF 12-2022). AROMA: medium-high vinhão grape aroma with medium-low to low hop aroma (grapefruit). faintly sweet malt background. APPEARANCE: dark pink body and clear. medium-low pink head with low retention. TASTE: initial medium-low hop flavor (fresh-green/grapefruit), followed by medium-low vinhão grape. no base beer malt character detected. medium bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with low carbonation. slight alcoholic warmth. OVERALL: although this beer has good grape-like notes, the base beer is absent.
