A silky and robust Baltic porter reminiscent of raisin, burnt caramel, roasted coffee and molasses. Very malty and somewhat sweet, it finishes with a dry and balanced bitter taste. The aroma is molasses and malt. Like a moderately hopped bock, with chocolate and coffee notes. This brew is bottom fermented and well rounded, with its potency hidden in its easy-drinking quality. Rummy, raisin and licorice notes similar to an old ale reside in the profile. The character also has hints of chocolate and coffee, and at times, a roasted background.

Can. Dark brown, close to black body with a nice, dense, creamy beige head. Aroma has roasted malt, caramel, coffee and dark fruits. Taste is sweet and smooth with malt and fruit like aroma, balanced bitterness and some warming alcohol. Fine body and long-lasting aftertaste. Nice, tasty and surprisingly easy drinkable for a 10% ABV beer.

On tap at Valhalla, Zagreb. Dark brown with beige head. Some roastiness, caramel, chocolate, some sugar, molasses, not getting the fruit, quite sweet, bit sticky. Not that easy to drink. Medium to full bodied. Not my thing I guess.

330ml can from House of Trembling Madness, York. Dark amber brown colour, beige foamy head leaving lacing and aroma of roasty malt, biscuit, chocolate & coffee. Taste is sweet, malty, molasses, leather, dried fruit, milk chocolate, coffee, roasted, with boozy earthy bitterness. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi-dry roasted bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.
