24/8/2019. Can courtesy of Colin shared at the Ipswich & North Essex beer share. Pours clear mid-brown with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma of milk chocolate, roasted malt, dark fruit, caramel, light coffee and cake. Medium plus sweetness and light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Enjoyable.

Can. A deep brown beer with a small beige head. Heavy aroma with roasted malts, nuts, caramel, dark chocolate hints, some prunes, treacle and oats, and a light alcohol touch. It's full-bodied, smooth and nicely carbonated, with a good sweetness and a pleasant light warmth. Some bitterness to bring a slight balance to the accounts. Molasses, caramel, prunes, some dark chocolate and coffee in the flavor, followed by some roasted malts and dark sugar. Everlasting sweet finish with lots of good stuff. A light warming sensation left in the throat and mouth. A pleasant, tasteful and dangerously easy drinkable beer that I sure wouldn't mind repeating. 190726

Tap at Salon piva. Mostly sweet, fully malty, loads of caramel, full body, rather light chocolate, no deep roast. Fruits absent too. Rather low bitterness as well, alcohol hidden too. Good, but too sweet for my liking.

330ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Rustic deep dark body, one-finger thick, fawn-coloured head, clingy lacing. Good looking the glass. Promising smell of earthy malts and dark fruits. Malt syrup flavours joined by dark fruits with molasses beneath. Roasted, mid-dry malty ending. Warming, sweet alcohol hints. Good sipper on a Friday eve.(Tromsø 22.02.2019).
