Dark brown, no head. Rich fruity aroma with malt too. Tastes of chocolate, malt, dried fruit, rum, a little coffee. Beautiful blend of flavours. Really good and a nice warming aftertaste.

Can, 0.33l. Clear deep ruby, almost black pour. One finger soapy beige head, short lasting. Minimal lacing on the glass. Roasty nose, notes of caramel and coffee, slight coal. Medium to full body, lively carbonation. Pleasantly prickly on the tongue. Thick and oily texture. Quite sweet taste initially, develops into roasty bitter afterwards. Malty aroma, strong caramel and toffee, roasted malt, coffee beans. Sugar and molasses, sweet and syrupy. Dried fruits. Notes of wood, a bit ashy. Liquory, strong alcohol presence. Drying mouthfeel, lingering burn on the tongue. Long lasting finish, dry, boozy and bitter with interesting fruity aftertaste. Very good.

Can split at CBC Covent Garden, thanks to Daniel, 20/11/18. Rich mahogany brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is tangy fruits, charr, light spice, hint of coffee bean. Taste comprises mellow roast, toffee, light coffee grinds, brown sugars, spice, dried fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok porter.

06.12.2018, 0,33l can shared with friends @ home:
Nice bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, sour grass, hay, minerals, weeds, bark, roasted grain, sour coffee, paper. Taste is slightly sweet mineraly, dark sugar, dark malts, weeds, bark, minerals, sour coffee, soil, harsh grass, dusty toast, alcohol. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly watery and harsh sour-ish roasted mouthfeel. Not my cup of coffee.

Can shared in London - cheers to Dan. Pours clear copper-brown with a small, creqmybtan head. Quite sweet, lots of toffee, brown bread, low bitterness. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. A little sticky sweet in the finish, nips of caramel, booze, lightly toasted brown bread. Not bad.

Craft TCR Bottleshare. Thanks to Dan the man for the can. Almost clear amber - brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth light palate, decent nippy fine carbonation. Soft dark malts, sweetish. Floral chocolate and fruity chocolate. Mild spice. Light finish. Pretty tasty.
