Jedinečná kombinácia štandartných a pražených sladov dodávajú pivu typicky suchý dozvuk kombinovaný s opečenou resp. dymovou chuťou. Pivo ma tmavú až čiernu farbu s jemnou hustou penou. Plnosť chute je nízka, rezkosť stredná až nižšia.

Tap at the brewpub. Murky dark brown/blackish body, lasting off-white head. Dried fruit, caramelly notes, bit buttery, blueberry touches in the aroma. Coffee in the taste, light caramelly, sweetish, blueberry, creamy notes, even lightly buttery as well, ending dry, bitter, bit astringent. It was genuinely hard to finish. Another one where I can believe it's usually better, but the one we had turned into a "would you like to try it, everyone?" game at one point, so...

Bottled 660ml. -from Pivny Raj Bratislava. Clear white bottle, wtf??? Almost black coloured, medium sized beige head, pleasant coffee nose. Roasted malt, coffee, touch of dark chocolate and caramel with bitterish roasty finish. Bit flat but drinkable.

trzynastka, a nie dwunastka. Ciemne piwo w przezroczystej butelce, spora bezowa piana, moja szklanica Guinnessa nie przepuscila swiatla, geste, ciemno brazowe, wytrawne, kawowe z nuta czekolady o minimum 80% kakao.

Draft at Salon Piva 2018. Opaque pretty much black color beige head with good retention and lacing. Nice aroma of earthy cocoa and coffee grounds. Taste is really earthy licorice and burnt espresso. Suitably dry

Sampled from tap at the brewpub at 13°. Clear, very dark brown with a light beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of caramel, cocoa, some hazelnut and a touch of licorice. Medium sweet, slightly bitter, gently roasty-malty taste of cocoa, caramel, toasted hazelnut, some coffee and a touch of licorice, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, gently earthy-dry finish. Medium body, smooth, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice Stout!
