Simply to say, craft beer is a beer that is not brewed by one of those large “mega-breweries.” It is crafted—not manufactured—by the brew master, for whom combining hops, malt, yeast and water is a form of art. Craft beer is not merely a fermented beverage. Its recipe combines carefully crafted aroma, texture, and appearance, while preserved natural ingredients, which are almost completely destroyed with pasteurization applied in all mega breweries, build the taste—the most important component of the crafting process.
