King Brewing Co. was formed in 1994, reviving a brewing tradition in southeastern Michigan that had ceased in the early 1950’s when the last small brewer was forced to close in Pontiac. When we opened, there were only three other breweries operating in the state. Currently, there are more than 70 breweries brewing beer in Michigan.
King Brewing Co. brews and packages all of its beer at our brewery in Pontiac. We seek out the finest ingredients, use traditional methods and brew authentic styles of beer. Our goal has always been a simple one: “ To provide metro Detroit with the freshest, most consistent and genuine beer available.”
