After more than 20 years as an amateur brewer, Jean-Marc Carpenier started developing his own beer brand in 2014. It is in the village of Hautrage, a sub-municipality in the heart of Saint-Ghislain, that the beers of the Brasserie de l'Abbaye Saint-Ghislain are brewed.
