Shire Meadery is based in the west of Wales, nestled in the Cambrian Mountains just outside of Aberystwyth. We are a craft meadery dedicated to unique and high quality meads and welcome visitors by appointment, offering mead making classes and tastings.

At Shire Meadery we aim to create unique light meads with a focus on delicate flavours and drinkability. Mead is wonderfully versatile with huge potential and we want to help this venerable drink regain the reputation it deserves.

Services we can provide include simple light meads, as well as more specialist creations with limited availability. If you want something really unique we can even create bespoke meads for weddings and other events!
