Tap. Pours clear hazel, large creamy beige head, great lacing. Aroma is chocolate, roasty, nutty, hints of smoke, toffee. Flavor is medium sweet, light acidity, light bitterness, loads of cocoa. Medium body. Ah, failed to notice that "The Dudes" is officially my 200th California brewery rated. Cool!

16oz can pours with a crystal clear copper body that has gold hues and supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up an odd earthy soapy sort of sensation as well as thin notes of citrus like gummy bears and floral hops and faint gravel. The taste starts with a blend of citrusy juicy hops, fussel like boozy pear and apple sweetness and then some sweet malts. To midway a thin resiny pine hop note comes to the surface to help pull this back toward being an IPA but fails in the end. For a drinking experience this does the trick but this is an odd IIPA.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours translucent gold with a slight white head. Aroma of tropical fruits and grapefruit. Med body or so. Slight carbonation. Flatish, even. Caramel backbone is a bit "different", but I can’t find the right words. The hop is nice, perhaps balanced, and it’s mostly citrus, with a grapefruit component, but there’s still hints of Mosaic. Belma? Not bad. Just low key.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours ruddy orange or copper? There’s a difference? Beige head. Aroma is arguably blood orange. Med body or so. Lots of flavor, but it seems to have vanilla - which isn’t going well with the citrus. Maybe it’s that all over the board Glacier Hop. Maybe it’s me. Ah well.

Can pours with a clear pure gold body that has thin copper hues and supports a thin tan head. The modest aroma offers up some malts and thin ripe clementines and then sugary cotton candy. The taste delivers a passable thin citrus hop juiciness amid sweet malts and a slightly grating bitter resiny grapefruit and pine like hoppiness. The citrus bitter and modest juicy notes take you to the finish where there’s an echo of slight biscuity toffee maltiness in the background that does a good job pulling this beer apart.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is pale malt but there is an underlying fruitiness. Flavor is a decent pale malt with lots of carbonation. Finish is clean and surprisingly bitter. This was decent for the style.

Pour is a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is a nice hoppy, orange peel zest with some sweet caramel malt backing things up. Flavor is way sweet malt followed by a bit of hops and more thick honey like sweetness. This was not a west coast fruity hops bomb. Way heavy and much to sweet malt that drowns out any aggressive hops.

Pour is a dark brown with a average tan head. Aroma Is roasted nuts with some toffee and a bit of coffee. Flavor is a big nut with more of a caramel following. Finish leaves a peanut butter on the tongue as this goes down. This was a decent beer if you like nutty beers. A bit one dimensional with the nuts used but it was better than your average brown ale.

Pour is a clear yellow with a average white head. Aroma is mildly hoppy. Flavor is again mildly hoppy with an odd chemical taste after the swallow. This was way watery. Not enough of the hops show up as well. There are better session IPA’s out there.
