At tap at the brewhouse in Visalia. Moderately hazy pale orange with full white head. Moderate amounts of citrus and malt are well balanced. The alcohol was hidden well here.

355ml bottle [as Tioga-Sequoia Tamarack Amber Lager]. Clear, amber colour with average, thick, frothy, half-way lasting, fairly lacing, sulphureous head. Grainy, malty aroma, a touch of spelt and dark bread, somehow slightly dark-moist-mouldy. Taste is bready, grainy, malty, hints of spelt, a spicy touch of chives. Nope.
