500 ml can. Clear golden body with a medium sized white head. Light grainy aroma. Flavor is more than less like any other industrial pilsner, not better or worse. Grain, malt, hint of fruit and low bitterness. Straight forward, no faults but nothing exiting.

Can. A clear, dark amber to brown beer with a small, off-white head. The aroma has some roasted notes, with caramel doing most of the work. Some dried fruits too, and a grassy hint. It’s medium bodied and soft on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Caramel, some sweetness and bitterness in the flavor, hints of dried fruits chiming in. Quite dry towards the end. A rather boring one, but sure drinkable. 141207

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Beautiful copper colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of caramel, anise and other spices. Thin mouthfeel. The flavour is not very sweet, but has some caramel and anise. Notes of dust and cardboard too. Uninventive and uninteresting.

Big coarseish brown-beige head. Clear brown body with light carbonation. Light spicy caramel aroma is quite faint. Dry strawy caramelly taste with nothing much else. Mid-to-thin body. Fizzy mouthfeel, slightly slick. Dryish spicy caramel aftertaste with cardboard flavours. Well. I’d rather have one of the industrial Christmas beers, to be honest. (0.5l can, from Meny Strømmen.)

Big white head. Clear deep golden body with light carbonation. Vague dusty fruity aroma. Dry watery grainy taste with fruity notes. Thinnish body. Watery, abrasive mouthfeel. Dry buttery mealy aftertaste with earthy notes. Faint metal. Dear me, this is dumb. Why start a "craft brewery" to make pilsners that are worse than those the industrials make? (0.5l can, from Meny Strømmen.)
