Very sweet, with more cocoa, vanilla, and maple syrup than bourbon. Dark fruit and caramel lie underneath, while modest notes of booze and oak peeking through on the finish. Alcohol remains well-hidden, but the sweetness eventually overpowers.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a thick,viscous motor oil black with slight purple highlights and no head. Huge dark fruit aromas with plum, raisin and fig standing out next to coffee, oak and big, rich cacao nib aromas. More cacao nib, dark 80% dark chocolate with prune, fig and vanilla. Boozy, but not overly hot. Smooth finish with lingering fruit, cacao and coffee.

12 oz can from Tavour. Dark, muddy brown with skin of beige head. Aroma has chocolate, peat, bourbon, vanilla notes. Taste comes in sweet, more than you'd expect from the style. Chocolate and vanilla with some of the earthy peat flavors, mellowed by the barrel. Unexpectedly delicious

Lots of juicy tropical citrus notes, mandarin oranges and dragon fruit and pineapple, with moderate resin on the back end and modest bitterness. Pretty standard hazy IPA, but very drinkable.

Basic golden ale, albeit a well-made one, with a mild pale malt sweetness coupled with minor floral-herbal hop notes and a lemongrass-n-bread finish. Pretty, but not ambitious in the slightest. Still drinkable, though.

Bottle from Craft Brewed shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a deep brown to black with a small bit of beige head. Lovely maple forward nose with some coffee and cacao nib. Smooth on the palate, but thin. Maple, coffee, cacao and vanilla throughout. Delicious.
