Toranomon summer tasting, thanks Walter for this. Berliner weisse, wine barrel aged, wow that concept sounds already interesting. Tart nose with loads of raspberries, tart and dry. Still like grandma's raspberry jam though, without excess sweetness. Taste has some interesting oak thing, lots if acidity and lots of raspberries. Lightly tannic. Dry and somewhat slick acidic mouthfeel. Red currants in the finish. Super solid, would like to drink more of this.

Very musty nose with tons of raspberries and dry. Medium tartness, excellent raspberry character. The wine barrel is a bit detectable in the finish with good raspberry character. Nice stuff

Can. Banana, orange, clove, wheat malt and straw aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Mildly sweet orange, banana, wheat malt, and mildly bitter clove and dry hay flavor. Good body. Not as sweet as most Hefeweizens - nice.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clear, glowing straw gold color with a finger of foam that lingers. Lovely dried pineapple and dried apricot aromas with a slight tropical edge. Wet hay, horseblanket aromas and flavors. More tropical fruit on the backend. I'm a big fan of these tropical brett strains in low abv beers. Nice drop!

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a clear copper with a rocky finger of off-white foam that lingers, then dissipates to a ring. Great lacing the whole way down the glass. Toasted caramel, bready malt, grapefruit zest and faint citrus juice. More caramel and pine on the palate, with lingering pithy bitterness and more grapefruit. Very nice take on this style. Very close to a Stone IPA.

Very drinkable wit, offering up your usual white ale notes--clove, banana, grass, and vanilla--with an enjoyable ginger flourish on the back end. Citrus and yeast add depth to the middle, while the finish grows dry and estery, mixing ginger and lemon-apple with a modest herbal-floral hop bitterness. Pours a slightly hazed yellow-gold with a brief white head and moderate lacing. Nose is clove and yeast, while the texture's perky but a tad soft for the style. Not a bad pint.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a cloudy gold with a full finger and a half of white foam that lingers. Lovely coriander forward nose with banana, clove and lemon notes. Estery, sweaty yeast notes on the palate, with more clove, peppercorn and coriander seed. Clean and crisp carbonation with cracked wheat and a light grainy texture. Light peppery, finish with a slightly sweet twist. Pretty solid traditional take on the style.
