Draught at Devil Craft. Nice copper color with a low head. Spicy, grassy nose. Nicely spicy flavor, cinnamon, some caramel, grass, earth, light citrus and pepper. Very smooth with great balance and character. Very interesting spiciness coming from the hops. Very likeable and complex beer.

Small beige head. Clear deep dark brownish red body. Roasty caramelly aroma with earthy notes. Dryish roasty caramelly taste with herbal earthy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish roasty burnt coffee aftertaste with chocolatey earthy notes. Very nice. Harmonic and drinkable. (0.25l draft at Popeye, Tokyo. Menu says 6%.)

Draught at Tadg’s. Unfragrant nose, light lemon and metal. Deep golden color with lace. Golden crackery malt, grass, light hop, but nice bitterness in the finish, peppery. Again, clean and very drinkable beer but not so interesting, and the nose is a bit too subdued.

Draught at Tadg’s. Deep copper color. Somewhat faint, grassy nose, pepper, minerals, earthy caramel. Nice bitterness in the mouth, good grassy hops, earthy, light citrus. Solid malt, bready but not too much caramel. Orange, pepper, big bitter finish. Light, crisp, good body. A bit simple, but perfectly crafted, with great balance and drinkability.

Draught at Brimmer Beer Box. Nose of creamy chocolate, cocoa, nuts. Rich dark chocolate, nuts, and coffee flavors. Perfect balance. Nice body too. Good stuff. Much improved.
